New Delhi, June 24 (ANI): Finance Secretary, Arvind Mayaram, on Tuesday laid emphasis on the need to boost investors' confidence to bring the country back on the path of growth and to spur economic expansion to its potential level. India will likely raise the foreign investment limit in government debt soon, as almost all the allocation has already been taken up as overseas buyers pile into the country's financial markets. The finance ministry will decide on the matter after consultations with the Reserve Bank of India and capital markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India. Mayaram said he is hopeful that the government would take adequate steps to boost overall growth rate.

New Delhi, June 20 (ANI): Talking about the increasing inflation rate, Market Expert Akash Jindal said that the ongoing Iraq crisis and the El Nino effect has further the inflation rate to this high. He also said that government should work to curb the same and free the people from the impact of the same. Jindal said that the prices of crude oil will increase due to situations in Iraq following which other food items and articles will also get costlier. He also said that government should try and stop hoarding and black marketing and therefore try to minimize the impact of these problems soon.

Bangalore, June 15 (ANI): NR Narayana Murthy while addressing last AGM as the Infosys chairman, said that Infosys has enough senior managers to run the business even if more executives leave, after a spate of staff exits triggered concerns about a leadership vacuum. Murthy played down the departure of at least 11 senior executives since he was brought back from retirement in June last year to help regain market share, saying some of them were low performers. Infosys shareholders are betting on Vishal Sikka, who will take over on August 1 from current CEO SD Shibulal, to turnaround the company by tapping opportunities in new technology areas including cloud computing and mobility.

New Delhi, June 06 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to neighbouring Bhutan later this month in his first foreign visit after assuming power. According to sources, Modi hold talks on key bilateral and regional issues with the leadership of the Himalayan nation. Reacting over this BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh said on Friday that UPA cancelled the subsidy on cooking gas and kerosene oil to Bhutan which was a wrong move and Modi's visit will now send a right message. He added that the visit would ensure Bhutan that India considers it a friendly neighbour.
