KODA AUTO India on Sunday reported a 48 per cent rise in sales at 4,788 units in December 2022. The company sold 3,234 units in December 2021, KODA AUTO India said in a statement. For the calendar year 2022, sales grew over two-fold at 53,721 units as against 23,858 units sold in 2021, it added. KODA AUTO India Brand Director Petr olc said in 2022 "we doubled our sales over the previous year, we hit monthly and quarterly sales records, we expanded our network with more touchpoints and being closer to our customers..." The company said it also exceeded the target of 225 sales and service touchpoints and has close to 240 customer touchpoints across India at present.

Skoda Auto India on Tuesday said its wholesales increased 11 per cent to 3,389 units last month as compared with 3,065 units in October last year. The automaker also reported retail sales of 4,173 units last month, up 29 per cent from 3,226 units in October last year. "The full five-stars in adult and child occupancy under the newer and stricter global NCAP crash test protocols is an extremely important and proud landmark for us. The Kushaq has set new benchmarks for safety, and is the safest car made-in-India. This is positively impacting our sales," Skoda Auto India Brand Director Petr Solc said in a statement. The company is very confident of closing the year on a high, with more than doubling its annual sales as compared to 2021, he added.
Skoda Auto India on Saturday said its sales increased by 17 per cent to 3,543 units in September. The automaker had dispatched 3,027 units to dealers in September 2021. "The Kushaq and Slavia models have been successfully established in the market and drive the sales impetus. In addition, our D-Segment products like the Octavia and Superb are leading their respective categories," Skoda Auto India Brand Director Petr Solc said in a statement. The company's focus is now on further enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing customer touchpoints across the country, he added.
Skoda Auto India on Thursday said its wholesales increased 10 per cent to 4,222 units in August as compared with the same period last year. The company had dispatched 3,829 units in August 2021. The Czech carmaker said it has crossed 37,568 total sales mark for 2022 with more than a quarter yet to go. This makes 2022 the biggest ever in terms of sales for the company in India, Skoda Auto said in a statement. The previous best by the company was 34,678 units sold in 2012, it added. "This is a landmark moment for Skoda Auto in India, and in the world. The credit to this achievement goes to our teams, our partners, and most importantly to our customers," Skoda Auto India Brand Director Zac Hollis stated.
