Thousands gathered along the roads in Rajasthan's Bundi district on Saturday to welcome the Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra as the Rahul Gandhi-led march covered nearly 30 kilometres before halting for the night. Gandhi had resumed the 94th day of the march from Gudli village in Bundi in the morning, after a day's break on Friday to celebrate his mother Sonia Gandhi's birthday. Around 6.30 pm in the evening, the yatra arrived in Kodkya village in Bundi's Kapren area via the Balapura Chouraha to a huge welcome by local people. The yatris would stay the night in the village and resume the march again on Sunday. Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is going to spend eight days during the concluding phase of the Bharat Jodo Yatra' in Jammu and Kashmir, Senior party leader and Rajya Sabha member Rajni Patil said on Saturday. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi resumed the Rajasthan leg of the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' from Gudli village in Bundi district on Saturday morning. Gandhi had taken a day's break in the yatra on Friday to celebrate his mother Sonia Gandhi's birthday. He flew back to Gudli village to resume the yatra. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recommenced his Bharat Jodo Yatra on its 91st day on Wednesday as he and fellow yatris marched towards the coaching capital of Kota from Darra Station Ganesh Mandir at 6 am. The yatra, which has so far covered over 2,400 kilometers since its start on September 7 from Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari, will travel at least 13 km in its first leg of its day three in Rajasthan to reach Mandana in Kota's Laadpura. Rahul Gandhi began his Bharat Jodo Yatra in the Congress-ruled Rajasthan on Monday morning. The yatra commenced from Kali Talai in Jhalrapatan in Jhalawar.
