CRPF holds 83rd Raising Day parade in Jammu, first time outside Delhi

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted its Raising Day parade outside its Delhi headquarters for the first time on Saturday with Union Home Minister Amit Shah taking salute at the march past in Jammu. Flanked by CRPF Director General Kuldeip Singh, the home minister handed over gallantry medals to the force personnel and trophies for best establishments in different categories at the event held at the Maulana Azad Stadium in the heart of Jammu city. Several dignitaries, including Union minister Jitendra Singh, J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, J&K High Court Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal, Director General of BSF Pankaj Singh and Director General of J&K Police Dilbag Singh, attended the 83rd Raising Day parade. J&K becomes first UT to be integrated with national single window system

Jammu and Kashmir has become the first Union Territory to be integrated with the national single window system as Lt Governor Manoj Sinha launched the J&K single-window portal, integrating it with the national single-window system. While 130 industrial services have been made online on a single-window system, over 160 more services would be integrated this year, the Lt Governor said. In a series of tweets, the Lt Governor said his administration is linking Jammu and Kashmir into a web of partnerships with the domestic and foreign companies and ensuring global best practices in our regulatory institutions and system. In the last one year since the launch of the new Industrial development scheme, our policies have evolved to make Jammu and Kashmir more competitive and more lucrative for industries and service enterprises, Sinha said. Investments in J&K expected to reach Rs 35,000 cr by Dec: Manoj Sinha

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said investments in the Union Territory are expected to reach Rs 35,000 crore by December 2021 and proposals for Rs 25,000-crore funding have already been received.
