As per the conditions for granting RERA registration certificate (RC) in March 2022, the promoter had to submit the approved service plans and estimates and the approved zoning plan of the project within three months. The Irrigation department in Haryana has not made any "substantial progress" in setting up plants to treat sewage discharged into the Najafgarh drain, Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena said in a letter to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Saxena also requested a meeting with Khattar in the letter dated February 2. "The L-G has reminded the Haryana chief minister that despite 'assurances' from the Irrigation department of his government to set up STPs (sewage treatment plants) to treat the sewage before being discharged into Najafgarh drain, there has not been any substantial progress so far," the L-G Office said in a statement. Parts of south Punjab, south, south-western and north Haryana were enveloped in fog. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Wednesday said foot marches and tractor rallies will be held in 20 states and a mahapanchayat convened in Haryana's Jind on Thursday to mark Republic Day and pay homage to those who died during the protests against three farm laws, which have since been repealed. "On the call of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha, farmers all over the county will mobilise again on January 26 to observe Republic Day and hold tractor rallies, foot marches and conventions after hoisting the national flag," it said in a statement. The foot march and tractor rallies will cover 300 districts in 20 states. Homage will be paid to all "kisan martyrs who lost their lives in the historic struggle of farmers against the anti-farmer government". Memorandum will be given to district collectors, the SKM said.
