Homegrown FMCG major Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) on Thursday reported a marginal decline in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 363.24 crore for the fourth quarter ended March. The company had posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 365.84 crore in the year-ago period, GCPL said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated total revenue from operations during the quarter under review stood at Rs 2,915.82 crore as against Rs 2,730.74 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. Total expenses in the fourth quarter were higher at Rs 2,535.06 crore as compared to Rs 2,259.12 crore in the same period a year ago. For the full fiscal year ended March 31, 2022, the company posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 1,783.39 crore as compared to Rs 1,720.82 crore in the previous fiscal, it added.
