IPL 2019: David Miller appreciates R Ashwin's performance, says his bowling was extremely well

Mohali (Punjab), Apr 17 (ANI): Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 12 runs in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium in Mohali on Tuesday. Post match, KXIP batsman David Miller spoke to mediapersons and said, "I think we had just the time we needed to pull the partnership. Till the 13th over, we wanted to build a partnership and not to lose the wickets. We tried to take one or two balls per over. At that stage, we had wickets in hand." He further said, "We tried to use the boundaries to our advantage. Ashwin's bowling was extremely well. It kept us in the game. Actually, it was a really good team performance." With this win, KXIP has now moved to fourth position in the league standings whereas RR is placed at the seventh position.

Mumbai, Apr 16 (ANI): Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by five wickets in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday. Post match, RCB bowler Yuzvendra Chahal spoke to mediapersons about the match. Chahal said, "We still have 7 games left in the series and if we win 6 games continuously, we can still remain in the game. Like last year, even there was a team that qualified this way. So, we are still in the game and you never know what will happen next." He further said, "I think we bowled well till 18 overs but yeah, Hardik (Pandya) played really well." Chahal even talked about his excitement for his debut in the upcoming World Cup as a player. World Cup 2019: BCCI announces 15-member Indian squad in Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 15 (ANI): Ahead of the World Cup 2019, while addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary announced the 15-member squad for Indian cricket team. The Indian team for World Cup comprises-Virat Kohli as captain, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Vijay Shankar, MS Dhoni as wicket-keeper, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Kartik, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohd Shami. The senior selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has selected the World Cup squad.
