Zakir Naik is wanted by the National Investigation Agency on terror charges

The warrant is issued in money laundering case
Move comes in the wake of Naik failing to appear before agency despite being issued four summons
NIA official said that notice was served at Naik's Mumbai-based Jasmine Apartments in Mazgaon area
The court said the order of the government was not arbitrary and illegal
NIA alleged that Naik incited Muslim youths to commit unlawful and terrorist acts
ED is probing the controversial preacher and his Islamic Research Foundation (IRF)
Police has also registered criminal cases against Naik for his alleged involvement in radicalising youth
NGO has been probed, as it is involved in money laundering case against them
As part of its probe against Naik and his Islamic Research Foundation under anti-money laundering laws
It claims that no reasons were given for taking such action under the UAPA
Last month, NIA had filed cases against Naik for allegedly promoting enmity on religious grounds
Naik says that ban on his NGO as unfortunate and alleges that this move of anti-Muslim BJP-led NDA Government is politically motivated
NIA has also written to Union Home Ministry for banning the webiste run by the IRF
Since Saturday, NIA has raided 21 properties of zakir Naik and others holding various posts in his NGO and private television channel
NIA has conducted searches at 19 premises and has started a process for blocking the URLs connected to IRF and Zakir Naik
NIA's action came a few days after the Cabinet declared IRF as a banned organisation under UAPA
Zakir Naik has been extolling Osama Bin Laden, proclaiming that every Muslim should be a terrorist
It adds that Naik has been promoting enmity and hatred between different religious groups
