India would strive to build a consensus among G20 nations on several issues during its presidency as the meeting is being held in the larger context of a "geopolitical crisis, food and energy insecurity, and sustainable development growth", External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Wednesday. Govt convenes an all-party meet on G20 preparations on December 5

The government has convened an all-party meet here on December 5 to inform leaders about India's preparations for the G20 meetings that New Delhi plans to host over the next one year, a senior leader of a party said on Friday. Need global push for millets amid conflict, climate change: Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday said a concentrated global push for millets is needed as the three Cs of climate change, Covid-19 and conflict are impacting food security in some way or the other.
