ISB beats IIMs, top-ranked Indian B-school on Financial Times MBA Rankings

Indian School of Business (ISB) has retained its position as the top ranked Indian B-school for its one year executive post graduate programme (EPGP) in the Financial Times Global MBA 2018 Rankings. While the institute fell one place to rank at 28th position, as against 27th position in the rankings last year, ISB saw itself among top five globally in terms of percentage salary increase and placement three months after graduation.The FT Global MBA Rankings, which ranks 100 top global one-year and two-year post graduate programmes for candidates with prior work experience, surveyed around 155 B-schools for the same.Of the top 100 B-schools globally ranked for their MBA programmes, only four Indian institutes were ranked including ISB, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A), IIM Bangalore (IIM-B) and IIM Calcutta (IIM-C) for their post graduate programmes for executives.Among these, while IIM-A's post graduate programme for executives (PGPX) fell two places from being ranked ..

Harish Manwani succeeds Adi Godrej as chairman of Indian School of Business

BS ReporterHyderabad, 19 January: The Indian School of Business(ISB) announced the appointment of Harish Manwani as the new chairman of the ISB Executive Board effective April 2018. He succeeds Adi Godrej who has been the chairman of the board of ISB since April 2011.Harish Manwani is the non-executive chairman of Hindustan Unilever Limited. ISB placements up 39% this year, average salary offered is Rs 22 lakh

BS ReporterHyderabad, 20 June: Over 400 companies-domestic and international, made 1,113 offers to students of PGP(Post Graduate Programme) class of 2017 at Indian School of Business(ISB), registering a 39 percent jump in the number of campus recruiters this year, according to the Hyderabad-based business school. These offers come with an average salary of Rs 22 lakhs.Andhra Pradesh government continued the recruitment from ISB for the second consecutive year with 21 offer letters to ISB students, some of them as executive assistants to the district magistrates of select districts. Other roles offered were in the areas of Fin-tech, Textiles, Tourism and Infrastructure . AP government recruited a similar number of ISB students and engaged them in the chief minister's office to work on specific projects.
