Some soldiers from both sides were injured in the skirmish," the defence minister said. The disengagement between the armies of India and China at the Patrolling Point 15 in eastern Ladakh is "one problem less" on the border, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Wednesday. India and China will complete the disengagement process in the Gogra-Hotsprings area in eastern Ladakh by September 12, the External Affairs Ministry said on Friday. The Supreme Court on Monday refused to entertain a PIL that sought a direction to the Centre to provide information on whether the nation lost any territory during the clash with the Chinese military in June 2020, saying these are the matters for the State and not for courts. Army chief visits forward areas in eastern Ladakh, reviews preparedness
