Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann to address 2 public rallies in Gujarat today

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann will address two public rallies in Gujarat on Sunday, ahead of the Assembly polls in the BJP-ruled state due later this year. Both the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders are on a two-day Gujarat visit from Saturday. On Sunday, AAP national convener Kejriwal will address public gatherings in Surendranagar city and Khedbrahma town in Sabarkantha district. Mann will also be present during the rallies, the Gujarat party unit said in a statement. Before the rallies, the two leaders will address a press conference in Rajkot. Preparations are underway to arrest Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha since he was appointed as the party's co-incharge of political affairs in Gujarat, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed on Friday. 10 people detained in raids by NIA, ATS in Gujarat over PFI links

At least 10 people have been detained in Gujarat for questioning over alleged links with the Popular Front of India (PFI) in raids conducted by a joint team of the state Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and the National Investigation Agency, an official said on Tuesday. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been raiding premises linked to the PFI in various states, including Gujarat, a senior state police official said. "They have detained at least 10 people for questioning from different parts of Gujarat with the help of the state police and ATS," he said. Notably, the PFI's political wing Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) is active in Gujarat and opened its office in Ahmedabad a few months back. In a massive crackdown on the PFI, multi-agency teams spearheaded by the NIA arrested 106 leaders and activists of the radical Islamic outfit on September 22 in near simultaneous raids in 15 states for allegedly supporting terror activities in the country, officials earlier said.

Goldi Solar to invest Rs 5,000 cr to raise module manufacturing capacity

Gujarat-based Goldi Solar is planning to invest Rs 5,000 crore by 2025 to expand its module manufacturing capacity to 6 gigawatt, the company's Managing Director Ishver Dholakiya said on Monday. At present, the total module manufacturing capacity of its plants in Pipodara and Navsari, Gujarat is 2.5 gigawatt (GW), Dholakiya told reporters during a press conference here. "We have plans to infuse over Rs 5,000 crore as part of expansion plans to increase module manufacturing from 2.5 GW to 6 GW," he said while launching HELOC Plus (high-efficiency low on carbon) module series with Heterojunction technology. The renewable energy business expansion will be channelled into auxiliary production, including aluminium frames, junction boxes, backsheet, etc, Dholakiya said. The investment will be made by the year 2025, he said, adding his company also aims to recruit over 4,500 people across various functions, which will increase its workforce to over 5,500. "We plan to hire 25 per cent of
