There is a steady increase in the hiring of tech talents in the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) sector amid constant technology upgradation by firms and the government's focus on accelerating infrastructure development, according to a report. Following positive sentiments around the 2023 Budget, the EPC sector is witnessing a rise in hiring of tech talents, both top-level management and freshers, according to CIEL HR Services report 'Employment Trends Today in EPC Sector in India - February 2023'. The report revealed that among the non-tech sectors, the EPC takes the lead (11 per cent) with regard to the most sought-after role of software development (2,367 jobs) compared to FMCG (3 per cent), Pharma (2 per cent) and Banking (10 per cent). Reliance Consumer expands portfolio in home, personal care segments

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, on Wednesday said it has expanded its play in the FMCG segment by launching its range of home and personal care products. RCPL, which has ambitions to be a relevant player in the FMCG segment, will now compete with the leading players of the segments, such as HUL, P&G, Reckitt etc, with the enhanced portfolio. Now, RCPL's portfolio includes Glimmer beauty soaps, Get Real natural soaps, Puric hygiene soaps, Dozo dish wash bars and liquids, HomeGuard toilet and floor cleaners and Enzo laundry detergent powder, liquid and bars. P&G launches programme for employees who are caregivers to disable children

FMCG major Procter & Gamble India on Tuesday announced the launch of 'Lead With Care' programme to support its employees who are caregivers to children with disabilities and special needs. This programme will enable employees to avail early preventive care and treatment for children impacted by specific neurodevelopmental, cognitive, behavioural, or physical impairments, said a statement from the company which owns brands such as Ariel, Vicks and Head & Shoulders. "The programme includes medical coverage across diagnosis, doctor consultations, treatment, cost of medicines and devices, and builds on top of the existing medical support the company extends to all its employees and their families, including employees of the LGBTQ+ community," it said.
