Delhi on Friday recorded 1,417 fresh COVID-19 cases, with a reduced positivity rate of 7.53 per cent and three fatalities due to the viral disease, according to data shared by the city health department. With this, Delhi's case count went up to 19,91,772 and the death toll to 26,411, according to the latest bulletin. Tamil Nadu reported 639 new COVID-19 infections, pushing the overall tally to 35,62,092, the health department said on Friday. There were no fresh fatalities and the death toll remained unchanged at 38,033 in the State, a medical bulletin said here. The state's COVID-19 case tally rose to 80,78,411, and death toll reached 1,48,186. The state had recorded 1,800 new cases and six fatalities on Wednesday. Mumbai recorded 1,201 new coronavirus cases and two fatalities on Thursday. Two deaths were reported in Pune city, while one death each was recorded in Amravati and Nagpur districts. The case fatality rate stands at 1.83 per cent. There are 11,690 active patients in the state.
