India reported 14,092 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, a marginal decline from the previous day's count of 15,815 Covid, said the Union Health Ministry on Sunday
This is the 11th consecutive day when the city logged more than 2,000 cases in a day.
The health department said in its daily COVID bulletin that 1,614 people were discharged, taking the total number of recoveries to 39,79,155 till date.
The COVID-19 toll rose to 21,420 as three more deaths were reported from different parts of the state in the last 24 hours, the bulletin said.
The recovery rate increased by 486 and touched 11,07,419, leaving the metropolis with 4,624 active cases, the official said.

This is the ninth consecutive day when the capital logged more than 2,000 cases in a day.
With this addition, the city's infection tally surged to 11,29,968 and the death toll to 19,662.

Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 1,847 coronavirus cases, including 852 in Mumbai, and seven fatalities, the health department said in a bulletin. The COVID-19 death toll remained unchanged at 3,955 with no new fatalities being reported, the bulletin said.
