The Indian Railways cancelled over 160 trains on Wednesday morning till 9 am. A total of more than 250 trains will be affected because of cancellations, rescheduling and diversion of trains. Till now, 35 trains have been diverted and 12 trains have been rescheduled.

The Railways keep diverting trains on a daily basis, sometimes due to weather while other times due to maintenance. On an average, the train cancellation number by the railways are touching the 180-mark every day.
