Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield on Saturday reported a 7 per cent growth in total sales at 72,235 units in March, as compared to 67,677 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales were at 59,884 units in the month under review, as against 58,477 units in the year-ago month, a growth of 2 per cent, the company said in a statement. Exports grew 34 per cent last month at 12,351 units, as compared to 9,200 months in March 2022. For the fiscal 2022-23, Royal Enfield said it posted a 39 per cent growth with a record total sales of 8,34,895 motorcycles. The company's sales stood at 6,02,268 units in FY22. Exports were also at record high at 1,00,055 units in FY23, as compared to 81,032 units in FY22, up 23 per cent. Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield on Sunday reported a 7 per cent decline in total sales at 68,400 units in December 2022. The company had sold 73,739 units a year ago, Royal Enfield said in a statement. Domestic sales were down 8 per cent last month to 59,821 units compared to 65,187 units in December 2021. Exports were almost flat at 8,579 units against 8,552 units in the year-ago period, the company said.

Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield on Saturday reported an over two-fold rise in total sales at 82,097 units in September 2022. The company had sold 33,529 units in the same month last year, Royal Enfield said in a statement. Domestic sales were higher at 73,646 units last month against 27,233 units in September 2021. Similarly, exports were also up at 8,451 units compared to 6,296 units in the year-ago month, it added.
The overall dealer satisfaction index improved from 657 points last year to 719 points this year, the study noted

The company had sold 45,860 units in the same month last year, Royal Enfield said in a statement. Domestic sales were at 62,236 units as against 38,572 units in August 2021, registering a growth of 61 per cent, it added. Exports grew by 8.1 per cent at 7,876 units last month as compared to 7,288 units in the year-ago period, the company said.
