Industry grouse - 22 products have been banned although they are fully recyclable, while non-recyclable packaging used by FMCG firms have been let off

A government committee has identified items to be banned based on an index of their utility and environmental impact.

The Green Tribunal also imposed Rs 5,000 fine on those violating the order and said action will be taken against erring officials too
