Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which owns and operates the retail chain D-Mart, on Saturday reported a 6.71 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 589.64 crore for the third quarter ended on December 31, 2022. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 552.53 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago, said Avenue Supermarts in a BSE filing. Its revenue from operations was up 25.50 per cent to Rs 11,569.05 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 9,217.76 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Avenue Supermarts' total expenses were at Rs 10,788.86 crore, up 27.02 per cent in the third quarter of FY2022-23 against Rs 8,493.55 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which owns and operates the retail chain D-Mart, has reported a 24.7 per cent rise in its standalone revenue from operations to Rs 11,304.58 crore for the third quarter ended on December 31, 2022. The company had revenue from operations of Rs 9,065.02 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago, Avenue Supermarts said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday. "Standalone Revenue from operations for the quarter ended December 31, 2022, stood at Rs 11,304.58 crore," it said while sharing an update at the end of the quarter. The total number of stores stood at 306 as of December 31, 2022. In the year-ago period, Avenue Supermarts' standalone revenue was at Rs 7,432.69 crore. Promoted by Radhakishan Damani and his family, DMart retails basic home and personal products across markets which include -- Maharashtra, Gujarat, Daman, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, NCR, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Rajasthan.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 417.76 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, said Avenue Supermarts in a BSE filing. Its revenue from operations rose 36.58 per cent to Rs 10,638.33 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 7,788.94 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Avenue Supermarts' total expenses stood at Rs 9,925.95 crore, up 36.93 per cent in Q2/FY23, as against Rs 7,248.74 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which owns and operates retail chain D-Mart, on Saturday reported over six-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 642.89 crore for the quarter ended on June 30, 2022, helped by a "very good recovery" in overall sales and a comparative low YoY base. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 95.36 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago, said Avenue Supermarts in a BSE filing. Its revenue from operations was up 93.66 per cent to Rs 10,038.07 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 5,183.12 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. According to the Damani family-promoted supermarket chain, its Q1FY23 results are not comparable with the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal, which was impacted by the second wave of Covid-19. Commenting on the results, Avenue Supermarts CEO & Managing Director Neville Noronha said, "There has been a very good recovery of overall sales. However, this quarter's performance is not comparable to the same .
