BSE closes 84.72 points up on Aug 11

New Delhi, Aug. 11 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 84.72 points up to stand at 27,859.60. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 16.85 points up to stand at 8,592.15. ESCORTS LTD and DELTA CORP LTD were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 17.39 % and 6.18 % along with Jaypee Infratech Ltd and JAIPRAKASH ASSOCIATES LTD with an increase of 5.87 % and 5.75 % respectively, while the top losers of group A includes BANK OF BARODA and GATI LTD with a decrease of 7.77% and 7.28% along with GRASIM INDUSTRIES LTD and MUTHOOT FINANCE LTD with a decrease of 6.44 % and 6.00% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 95.15 points at 21177.91 while the Banking sector is down 35.36 points at 21323.56 and the Realty sector is down 14.46 points at 1592.41. The Indian currency is 0.23% down with Rs 66.87 per dollar.
