BSE closes 7.07 points up on March 23

New Delhi, Mar 23 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 7.07 points up to stand at 25,337.56. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 1.60 points up to stand at 7,716.50.Monsanto India Ltd and Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 12.66% and 11.63% along with Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd and Mphasis Ltd with an increase of 7.53% and 7.42% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Polaris Consulting and Services Limited and Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd with a decrease of 6.48% and 6.04% along with Kaveri Seed Company Ltd and Torrent Power Ltd with a decrease of 5.75% and 4.81% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 48.40 points at 17779.82 while the Banking sector is down 43.24 points at 18110.19 and the Realty sector is down 2.60 points at1231.12.The Indian currency was up with 0.09% with Rs. 66.77 per dollar.
