BSE closes 59.24 points down on Aug 17

New Delhi, Aug 17 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 59.24 points down to stand at 28,005.37. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 18.50 points down to stand at 8,624.05. BF Utilities Ltd and Jubilant Life Sciences Limited were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 13.47% and 12.89% along with Delta Corp Ltd and Indian Bank with an increase of 9.11% and 6.03% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited and Jaypee Infratech Ltd with a decrease of 7.95% and 7.16% along with Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd and Strides Shasun Ltd with a decrease of 4.73% and 4.69% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 179.67 points at 21454.56 while the Banking sector is up 21.74 points at 21837.38 and the Realty sector is up 1.26 points at 1577.47. The Indian currency is 0.00% with Rs 66.76 per dollar.
