BSE closes 57.64 points down on May 31

New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 57.64 points down to stand at 26,667.96. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 18.40 points down to stand at 8,160.10. Tata Motors Ltd and Canara Bank were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 8.95% and 6.04% along with Future Enterprises Ltd and E.I.D. Parry (India) Ltd with an increase of 5.36% and 5.19% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes GVK Power and Infrastructure Ltd and Amtek Auto Ltd with a decrease of 7.65% and 6.78% along with Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd and Trent Ltd with a decrease of 6.13% and 5.85% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 454.48 points at 19375.41 while the Banking sector is up 106.61 points at 20083.78 and the Realty sector is up 12.39 points at 1421.08. The Indian currency is 0.03% up with Rs. 67.18 per dollar.
