BSE closes 45.97 points up on June 1

New Delhi, June 1 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 45.97 points up to stand at 26,713.93. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 19.85 points up to stand at 8,179.95. Amtek Auto Ltd and Tube Investments Of India Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 7.59% and 6.13% along with Muthoot Finance Ltd and Monsanto India Ltd with an increase of 5.85% and 4.91% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Supreme Industries Ltd and Suzlon Energy Ltd with a decrease of 5.92% and 5.33% along with Welspun Corp Limited and Canara Bank with a decrease of 4.22% and 3.99% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 116.09 points at 19247.16 while the Banking sector is down 240.06points at 19871.68 and the Realty sector is up 5.22 points at 1426.30. The Indian currency is 0.23% up with Rs. 67.42 per dollar.
