BSE closes 43.01 points down on January 4
New Delhi, Jan 4 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 43.01 points down to stand at 25,580.34. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 6.65 points down to stand at 7,784.65. Tata Steel Limited and Vedanta Limited were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 6.15 %, and 3.65 % along with GAIL (India) Limited andAsian Paints Limited with an increase 3.04 % and 2.34 % respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda with a decrease of 1.95 % and 1.92 % along wi+th Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and Coal India Limited with a decrease of 1.56 % and 1.54 % at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up57.21 points at 18,238.04 while the Banking sector is up 61.06 points at 18,882.80 and the Realty sector is up 18.66 points at 1,361.89.The Indian currency was up with 0.01% at Rs 66.61 per dollar.
