BSE closes 284.20 points down on Aug 3

New Delhi, Aug 3 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 284.20 points down to stand at 27,697.51. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 78.05 points down to stand at 8,544.85.Delta Corp Ltd and Fortis Healthcare Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 8.85% and 7.32%along with Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd and HCL Technologies Ltd with an increase of 3.20% and 3.16% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Bajaj Finance Limited and Just Dial Ltd with a decrease of 8.61% and 5.74% along with Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd and Page Industries Ltd with a decrease of 5.58% and 5.26% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 359.28 points at 20728.15 while the Banking sector is down 130.84 points at 21244.90 and the Realty sector is down 34.10 points at 1550.72. The Indian currency is 0.33% up with Rs 66.95 per dollar.
