BSE closes 231.23 points down on December 3

New Delhi, Dec 3 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 231.23 points down to stand at 25,886.62. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 67.20 points down to stand at 7,864.15. Axis Bank Limited and Tech Mahindra Limited were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 0.72% and 0.54% along with NTPC Limited and IndusInd Bank Limited with an increase of 0.41% and 0.25% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited with a decrease of 2.89% and 2.76% along with Lupin Limited and Punjab National Bank with a decrease of 2.46% and 2.40% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 156.69 points at 18688.09 while the Banking sector is up 115.50 points at 19538.74 and the Realty sector is up 4.94 points at 1353.98.The Indian currency was 0.18% up at Rs 66.71 per dollar.
