BSE closes 219.78 points down on December 8

New Delhi, Dec 8 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 219.78 points down to stand at 25,310.33. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 63.70 points down to stand at 7,701.70. Amtek Auto Ltd and Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 10.98% and 4.79% along with Jet Airways (India) Ltd and Indian Hotels Co. Ltd with an increase of 2.55% and 2.53% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Adani Power Ltd and Jaiprakash Associates Ltd with a decrease of 9.52% and 8.79% along with Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd and RattanIndia Power Limited with a decrease of 7.54% and 7.12% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 16.75 points at 18425.99 while the Banking sector is up 165.41 points at 19217.49 and the Realty sector is up 49.49 points at 1292.89. The Indian currency was 0.06% up at Rs 66.67 per dollar.
