BSE closes 21.41 points down on Aug 2

New Delhi, Aug 1 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 21.41 points down to stand at 27,981.71. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 13.65 points down to stand at 8,622.90. INDIAN BANK and IDFC LIMITED were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 19.97% and 7.63 % along with KANSAI NEROLAC PAINTS LTD and TATA COMMUNICATIONS LTD with an increase of 6.45 % and 6.26 % respectively, while the top losers of group A includes Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd and Jaypee Infratech Ltd with a decrease of 9.73 % and 7.44 % along with JINDAL STEEL and POWER LTD and Vedanta Limited with a decrease of 6.39 % and 5.85 % at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 103.86 points at 21087.43 while the Banking sector is down 46.26 points at 21375.74 and the Realty sector is down 18.94 points at 1584.82. The Indian currency remains unchanged with Rs66.76 per dollar.
