BSE closes 118.07 points up on Aug 18

New Delhi, Aug 18 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 118.07 points up to stand at 28,123.44. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 49.20 points up to stand at 8,673.25. JUBILANT LIFE SCIENCES LIMITED and Jaypee Infratech Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 11.55% and 8.87% along with Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd and GUJARAT STATE PETRONET Ltd with an increase of 6.84% and 6.64% respectively, while the top losers of group A includes J CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA and Strides Shasun Ltd with a decrease of 4.65% and 3.58% along with COAL INDIA LTD and ILandFS Transportation Networks Ltd with a decrease of 2.59% and 2.43% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 71.65 points at 21526.21 while the Banking sector is up 358.34 points at 22195.72 and the Realty sector is up 17.17 points at 1594.64. The Indian currency is 0.08% up at Rs 66.82
