The life of an actor looks pretty good. Consistently surrounded by lights and cameras, the actors have to look at their best for every shot. But is looking good the only prerequisite for an artist? Definitely not! Talent has always overshadowed looks in the long run. Working on the art and craft of acting, Abhijit Patil is set to make a promising debut in the Marathi film ‘Rajmudra’.
For the same, Abhijit is putting in his best effort by undertaking acting workshops. While Abhijit will be seen in different shades in the film, he says that the job of an actor is not easy. “Bringing different emotions on screen is both challenging and amusing. As I make my acting debut with ‘Rajmudra’, I feel that having spontaneous comic timing is the most important skill any artist can possess”, he said.
Furthermore, Abhijit went on to say that the comedy genre looks entertaining, but it is the most difficult genre. Speaking about it, he said, “Making people laugh is not a cakewalk. And most importantly, the way you express humour on the screen tests your acting potential. I must say that I am getting to learn a lot as an artist.”
Interestingly, with ‘Rajmudra’, Abhijit Patil will also make his directorial debut. “The pressure to be an actor and director is mounting, but I’m pretty sure to do justice to my work”, he added. The film is said to be a social drama flick with loads of entertainment, emotions, drama and an impactful message.
Even before his official debut, Abhijit Patil has been creating a buzz with his projects. Besides ‘Rajmudra’, the actor has a web series titled ‘Assi Nabbe Pure Sou’ in the pipeline. As per the news, the web series is based in the 80s and is set in Uttar Pradesh. With two distinguished projects, we can’t wait to see Abhijit Patil in different avatars on screen.
