The third edition of the Automation Now & Next report released by Automation Anywhere, a solutions provider in intelligent automation (IA), IA is now a key reveals that strategy to navigate market challenges and sustain business performance.

Of 1,000 global organisations surveyed, over 90 per cent say automation addresses the impact of geopolitical and economic uncertainty, while remaining a key component of business transformation across India. The research was conducted across eight countries, including India, which provided one of the highest numbers of survey respondents among all countries.
Operational disruptions

  • 58% of respondents strongly agree automation is helping address supply chain issues
  • 86% strongly agree automation has helped address staffing shortages
  • 74% strongly agree it has become more important in meeting customer requirements
  • 59% strongly agree it is now a key component of their digital transformation strategy

IT functions are top priority

  • 65% cite IT (and data management) as top priority for automation deployment over the coming 12 months
  • 99% say automation has become a key component of digital transformation strategy
  • 84% now use a centralised IT/automation team to plan enterprise-wide deployment
