IND vs SL 1st ODI Highlights
Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka played yet another brilliant inning and once again justified why IPL franchises were wrong in not picking him in this year's auction, despite the fact that Sri Lanka lost the game by a huge margin of 67 runs to go 0-1 down in the three-match series.
Other than Shanaka, Pathum Nissanka did well to get to 72 and so did Dhananjaya de Silva (47). But the two wasted their starts, getting out one delivery that shouldn't have had their wickets. For India, Umran Malik picked three wickets while Mohd Siraj got two.
Earlier in the day, after being asked to bat first, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli made the best of the chances that they got through the Decision Review System and dropped catches respectively. While Rohit scored 83, Kohli notched up his 45th ton, scoring 113 off 87 balls. Shubman Gill also got 70 to help India post an imposing total of 373/7. For Sri Lanka, Kasun Rajitha picked 3-88.
