Vedanta Ltd fell 1.94% today to trade at Rs 257.4. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 0.71% to quote at 19103. The index is up 19.96 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Hindalco Industries Ltd decreased 1.94% and National Aluminium Company Ltd lost 1.31% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 11.32 % over last one year compared to the 7.67% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
Vedanta Ltd has added 12.94% over last one month compared to 19.96% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 11.32% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 2.52 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 10.23 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 440.75 on 11 Apr 2022. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 206.1 on 01 Jul 2022.
