Free Balochistan Movement activists stage protest in Germany against Pakistan's nuclear weapons

Hannover (Germany), May 29 (ANI): Free Balochistan Movement activists held a protest in Germany's Hannover against Pakistan's nuclear weapons which were tested in Balochistan on May 28, 1998. The Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) demanded removal of Pakistan's nuclear weapons and an investigation into the effects and aftermath of nukes in Balochistan. Mumtaz Baloch an activist of FBM said, "Pakistan has occupied Baloch land on March 27, 1948 and since then, Baloch people are suffering from various atrocities. We are here to inform everybody around the world that there are some humans on the corner of the World who are called Baloch who are suffering from a complete genocide. Pakistan is killing are people."

People protest against absence of wage policies in PoK

Sudhnoti, PoK May 28, 2019:- A large number of unorganized workers took to streets of Pallandari in Sudhanoti district of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir against Islamabad administration. They shouted anti-Pakistan slogans and accused the government of being apathetic and insincere towards their plights. They said that they are being exploited in their various fields of employment owing to absence of a substantive wage policy in the region. They alleged that the local and the federal administration are plundering the region and not providing any service or facility for the people. A steep rise has been recorded in the inflation and there has not been any hike in remunerations or wages. According to a protester, they are being paid at least 40 percent less than what they deserve.

Fear grips Nepal after series of blasts

Kathmandu (Nepal), May 27 (ANI): With a string of blasts in Nepal's capital Kathmandu on Sunday that were followed by strikes called by former Maoist splinter group, most vehicles stayed off roads. Four people were killed and seven injured after three separate blasts. Along with a slump in number of vehicles on road, the number of people venturing out for work also reduced with some schools and offices staying shut. A handful number of people were seen outside but they were also scared. The splinter group Communist Party of Nepal is suspected to be behind Sunday's attack, the deadliest since the government imposed a ban on the group on March 12. With the arrest and discovery of bombs at four different places on Sunday alone, criticism against the group is increasing and people are suggesting the government to sit down with group to reach to a point of consensus. RJP-N demands government to make probe report on Madhesh Movement public
