Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Oct 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud signed the Strategic Partnership Council Agreement to further cement the bilateral ties in political, defence, security, trade and investment sectors between the two countries. Several agreements in the fields of defence industries collaboration, security cooperation, air services agreement, and renewable energy among others were signed. Krishna District (AP), Oct 29 (ANI): A part of the roof of a primary school in Andhra Pradesh's Surampalli village collapsed. The roof collapsed as the building was in dilapidated condition. Around 35 students were present during the incident. Mishap occurred during school hours but the classroom was not occupied when the incident occured. No injuries were reported.

Wuhan (China), Oct 27 (ANI): Indian Boxer Deepak Kumar lost the final match of the men's light fly 46-49 kg weight category against Zhussupov Temritas from Kazakhstan. Kumar had to settle with a silver medal. After the match the Indian boxer questions over the judgment that was given in the summit clash. , "I tried my best. The referee never questioned my opponent even when he committed a foul," he said. The Kazak boxer defeated Deepak 5-0 in the final.

Jaishankar on October 25 met Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah in Azerbaijan's Baku on the sidelines of the 18th session of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
