Defeating all teams one sided is a good feeling: Shreyas Iyer on U-19 team reaching WC finals

Hamilton (New Zealand), Feb 05 (ANI): New Zealand beat India by four wickets in Hamilton to take 1-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series. Ross Taylor's 21st One Day International (ODI) hundred was the cornerstone of Kiwis successful chase of 348 against India in the first of a 3-match series. While addressing the post match press conference in Hamilton, batsman of Indian Cricket Team Shreyas Iyer spoke about the Under-19 Indian Cricket Team reached into finals of ICC Under-19 World Cup. He said, "We are happy the way they have been playing and especially defeating all the teams one sided it's a really good feeling. I have been a part of the U-19 team as well so I know how it feels to come to the finals." Talking about KL Rahul, Shreyas added, "There's a lot to learn from him as a batsman as he really plans his innings and takes on the bowlers."

He scored 109* while chasing the 300 plus target. We have to try and hit the target so that we can create the momentum on field. We need to cheer up the bowlers and all the fielders also have to be there in the game."
