Indian players were seen sweating it out for their third match at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. India defeated South Africa by massive 5-0 in the first match. The second match between India and Belgium ended in a draw.

Adelaide (Australia), Dec 05 (ANI): Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and Australia Cricket team captain Tim Paine posed with the Border-Gavaskar trophy on the eve of the first test in Australia's Adelaide on Wednesday. The four test match series between India and Australia will begin on December 6 in Adelaide Oval. The Adelaide Oval hosted the first ever day-night Test match which was played between Australia and New Zealand in November 2015. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is a Test cricket series, played between India and Australia. India had earlier faced Australia in T20 International in Australia's Sydney Cricket Ground in a three-match series.

World Cup 2018: Hockey fever reaches peak level in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Dec 04 (ANI): India is hosting the Men's Hockey World Cup 2018 in Odisha's capital city Bhubaneswar from November 28 to December 16. The teams are divided into four pools. The hockey enthusiasts have gathered in large number at Bhubaneswar to cheer their favourite team and also to see their favourite players. The sixteen top hockey nations will be a part of this 19-day tournament. Today, two interesting games of Pool B will take place in the Kalinga Stadium. While on one hand England and Australia will lock horns, second match will see Ireland and China against each other. One of the hockey fans said, "Today, I am going to support Australia as they are one of my favourite team. I wish them good luck and hope that they will win this world cup." The other fan said, "It will be a close match and to witness the same I have came here from Patna."

Mother of three children didn't break a sweat in the match against her 22-year-old opponent. On the age factor, Mary Kom said that it is secondary and it does not hold much importance in boxing. Hockey Men's World Cup 2018: Australia, Pakistan, Netherlands and Belgium teams arrive in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Nov 25 (ANI): Hockey teams from Australia, Pakistan, Netherlands and Belgium arrived in Odisha's Bhubaneswar on November 24. The teams here arrived ahead of the men's Hockey World Cup. The Netherlands, ranked at number four globally are grouped in Pool D along with Pakistan. Belgium is at world's number three in Pool B. The tournament will start in Bhubaneswar from November 28. 16 teams are participating in the tournament. The games will be played at Kalinga Stadium. The World Cup will conclude on December 16.

Pakistan hockey team arrives in India for Men's Hockey World Cup

Amritsar (Punjab), Nov 24 (ANI): Hockey Men's World Cup 2018 will kick off in Bhubaneswar from November 28. Team Pakistan arrived in India to participate in the championship via Attari-Wagah border. "We are hopeful that we will perform our best in the World Cup", said Pakistan Hockey Team manager Hassan Sardar. 16 teams are participating in the tournament.
