IPL 2019: Experience is missing in SRH's batting order, says Rohit Sharma

Mumbai, May 03 (ANI): Mumbai Indians (MI) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Super Over and became the third side to seal a spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. Earlier, SRH tied the game and catch up to MI's 162 runs total. While addressing the post match press conference, skipper of MI, Rohit Sharma said, "This year the condition of Wankhede Stadium pitch was different as sometimes the ball started spinning in the second half due to the dew factor. The overall behavior of the pitch this time was full of ups and downs. We know our bowling is good and we can defend any score." "We were planning to put pressure on them as experience is missing in batting order of SRH and it was difficult for them to chase even 150-160 runs," MI skipper added.

CSK vs DC: Delhi Capitals were good in powerplay but couldn't capitalise it later, says Suresh Raina

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), May 02 (ANI): Chennai Super Kings (CSK) thrashed Delhi Capitals (DC) by 80 runs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) game at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday. While addressing the post match press conference, all-rounder player of Chennai Super Kings Suresh Raina said, "We batted really very well and kept wickets in our hand. Later on Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MSD) and Jaddu (Ravindra Jadeja) finished it quite well. Specially, when you are playing in Chennai, you need to put extra 20-30 runs on board." "When you are playing with two fast bowlers the other team knows your plan so in such humidity in Chennai, I think spinners play a big role", Raina added. "Delhi Capitals were very good in powerplay (PP) but later on they didn't capitalise it," the CSK all-rounder further stated.

CSK vs DC: Need to give Rishabh Pant freebie as you can't restrict his flow, says Shreyas Iyer

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), May 02 (ANI): Chennai Super Kings (CSK) thrashed Delhi Capitals (DC) by 80 runs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) game at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday. While addressing the post match press conference skipper of Delhi Capitals Shreyas Iyer said, "We have seen him (Rishabh Pant) converting the starts into a match winning knock and definitely it was a ball to hit but, it just that he couldn't convert it into the gap. So, it wasn't a bad stroke to be honest as he could have played bit smart and access the pitch condition as how the spinners are going to work." "We needed a bit of partnership at that point of time. Rishabh Pant could have changed the momentum of the game if he would have connected, if would have gone the stance. You need to give him a freebie because you can't restrict his flow," Iyer added.
