In his state Jharkhand, members of a youth cricket club in Ranchi celebrated his birthday. Dhoni used his cricketing wits and smarts to help India win the 2011 ODI World Cup, 2007 T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy. No other man has captained his country to victory in all 3 ICC tournaments. He even led India to the number one ranking in both test and ODI formats. The players now hope of winning another World Cup as the Indian team has progressed to the semi-finals of the ongoing tournament. The team takes on New Zealand in the semi-final on July 9.

New Delhi, July 03 (ANI): India Skipper Virat Kohli could not resist himself from meeting Charulata Patel, an 87-year-old Indian fan, and called her one of the most passionate and dedicated fans, he has ever seen or met. The 87-year old caught everyone's eye, when she was seen ardently cheering for the Indian Team, when the team was batting against Bangladesh during their World Cup on Tuesday. Kohli met Patel after the match and shared pictures with the fan on his Twitter handle. India went on to win the match as they defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs. Mohali (Punjab), June 30 (ANI): Maharashtra secured the top spot in the 6th National Wheelchair Basketball Championship in both men's and women's categories here at Multipurpose Stadium in Mohali on Saturday. Union Sports Minister, Kiren Rijiju attended the event on the conclusion day. In the men's category, Maharashtra beat Punjab by 64-52 to win their sixth consecutive title. In women's category, Maharashtra defeated Tamil Nadu by 25-14 and claimed their third title.
