India's non-playing captain Rohit Rajpal who was also part of the team, was also present. India secured a 4-0 lead against Pakistan in the Davis Cup, progressing to 2020 Qualifiers. Leander Paes recorded his 44th Davis Cup doubles win.

"When we came back to India from 2007 T20 World Cup, we took a trip in an open bus at Marine Drive, and it was jam packed from all sides. People had come out of their cars, and the kind of smile they had on their faces, it felt really good after seeing that... second instance, I would say the 2011 World Cup when we needed 15-20 runs, and all the spectators at the Wankhede Stadium started chanting Vande Mataram. So, these two moments, I think, will be difficult to replicate," Dhoni said at a brand event in Mumbai on November 28.
Kolkata, Nov 23 (ANI): Bangladesh's cricket team coach Russell Domingo on Friday said that a practice match ahead of the pink-ball Test would have definitely helped them. "We did request a practice match with pink ball, but with current schedule it was not possible. A practice match would have helped us." India ended day one of the ongoing day-night Test against Bangladesh at the score of 174/3 after wrapping up the first innings of the 'Tigers' at just 106 runs at the Eden Gardens.

The SG manufacturing plant in Meerut is all set to deliver the pink balls to the BCCI for the first day-night test match. The company has already given 120 pink balls for the practice sessions. SG believes that the pink ball will pass its first international test with flying colours. While speaking to ANI, SG, Marketing Director, Paras Anand said, "We are ready to deliver our pink balls to the BCCI. In the beginning, BCCI has asked to deliver 72 balls but till now we have delivered them 120 balls.
Kolkata, Nov 19 (ANI): Abhishek Dalmia, secretary of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), on November 19 said the upcoming first-ever 'day-night' test match between India and Bangladesh will be a historic occasion for the Eden Gardens. "I think every match is special and obviously the fact that for the first time a Test match is being held under lights and that says it all. It is a historic occasion. There is no doubt about it. Eden Gardens has witnessed a lot of historical occasions in the past. The first World Cup final outside India was held here and the first day and night ODI in the country was held here," Dalmia told ANI. India and Bangladesh will play their Test under lights at the Eden Gardens from November 22-26.
