Yashodhara Raje Scindia underscores skill development for youth at Global Investors Summit

Indore, Oct 09 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Commerce and Industry Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia said at the Global Investors Summit that she will take steps for skill development of the youths and unemployed of the state so that they become self reliant. During a news conference at the Global Investors Summit, the minister said the regional government will ensure skill availability within the state. Microsoft to roll out commercial cloud services from local data centres in India

New Delhi, Sept 30 (ANI): Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on Tuesday said that Microsoft would roll out commercial cloud services from local data centres in India by the end of 2015. Microsoft Azure is a cloud-based platform for creating, deploying and maintaining online applications and services such as websites and web-hosted applications. The service, which is used by governments and corporations around the world, supports various programming languages, tools and frameworks. Nadella, who took the helm of the world's largest software company in February, said there was an incredible demand and opportunity for India with Microsoft cloud services.

US call for greenfield investments in India

New Delhi, Sept 18 (ANI): In a bid to end the blockage of global trade, US top official called for green field investments in India through the 'Select USA' programme that will specifically concentrate on assisting new and expanding existing businesses. Speaking to reporters at CII Headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday Executive Director, Select USA, Vinai Thummalapally, invited competitive investors from India to USA. The director is on a seven-day visit to India and will be travelling across five cities - Delhi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Bangalore - to boost trade investment in the US. Counsellor for Commercial Affair John M McCaslin was also present at the "Select USA" press conference organised by the US Department of Commerce. Thummalapally said India's small and medium enterprises will benefit from the programme.
