RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at 7.5%, EMIs unlikely to fall

Mumbai, April 7 (ANI): RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan on Tuesday held repo rate unchanged at 7.5 per cent, as expected. A status quo (repo rate, cash reserve ratio stay unchanged) was anticipated because Rajan had earlier this year announced back-to-back repo cuts, both times outside the policy meetings.

Sensex surges new low, Market Expert says geo-political tensions in Middle East responsible for same

According to reports, Saudi Arabia has hit fresh targets inside Yemen to flush out Houthi Rebels which has lead to increase in crude oil prices.
