Honda Motor launches new version of Gold Wing Tour for Rs 39.2 lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) on Tuesday said it has launched the new version of superbike Gold Wing Tour in the country, priced at Rs 39.2 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 Gold Wing Tour comes as a completely built-up from Japan, and features dual clutch transmission (DCT) with an airbag. "Over the years, Gold Wing has strengthened its reputation as a technological flagship from Honda. Raising the level of touring experience by several notches, we turn a new chapter in redefining luxury on two-wheels with the 2022 Gold Wing Tour DCT model with Airbag in India," HMSI Managing Director, President & CEO Atsushi Ogata said in a statement. The bike comes with a 1,833 cc liquid-cooled engine and features like idling stop system, hill start assist among others. Hero Electric unveils new two-wheeler model, set to launch in next quarter

Hero Electric on Tuesday unveiled a new two-wheeler Hero Eddy for the domestic market. The electric scooter is easy to manoeuver product that strikes a perfect balance between technology and convenience to fulfil the need for short-distance commutes to next-door coffee shops, golf courses and gymnasium etc, the company said in a statement. Hero Eddy comes with features like find my bike, large boot space, follow me headlamps and reverse mode. CredR to invest $15 million to expand used two-wheeler business

Used two-wheeler buying and selling platform CredR on Wednesday said it will invest USD 15 million (around Rs 110 crore) in 2022-23 to expand its business. The Bengaluru-based firm plans to open 50 CredR showrooms for used two-wheelers in FY22-23 and over 100 showrooms by 2024, CredR said in a statement. Commenting on the company's plans, CredR CEO & Co-founder Sasidhar Nandigam said, "The pandemic was an unexpected boon to our business. The break in business allowed us to reposition and strategically plan the next few stages of our growth trajectory." He further said, "The post-Covid response has been so massive that we have decided to go all out with our expansion plans, keeping profitability and customer satisfaction as paramount objectives."
