New Delhi, 1 AugustTo indicate his disagreement with party chief and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's decision to ally with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Janata Dal (United) veteran Sharad Yadav is set to host a convention against communalism in mid-August. The convention is likely to take place on August 17, two days before Nitish is slated to chair the party's national executive meeting in Patna.According to JD (U) sources, the convention is set to be attended by senior leaders of Opposition parties, including the Congress and Left parties, and would be a show of strength of Opposition unity and to express solidarity with Yadav.
