Ratan Tata-backed Repos expects to grow three-fold this fiscal to Rs 185 cr

Ratan Tata-backed energy distribution startup Repos is expected to grow by close to three-fold to Rs 185 crore in the current fiscal on account of increased traction for its service among business-to-business clients, a top official of the firm said. Repos Energy founder and CVO Aditi Bhosale Walunj told PTI at the Auto Expo 2023 that the company is in the process of raising Rs 300 crore to fund expansion of business across India as well as a platform to offer carbon-neutral fuels such as ethanol and electric vehicle chargers. "We have been fortunate enough to have Mr Ratan Tata as our initial investor. Last fiscal year we did business of Rs 65 crore. Our business has been growing multifold. This fiscal we expect our top line to be around Rs 185 crore," Walunj said. RattanIndia Enterprises acquires 100% shareholding in EV maker Revolt Motor

RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd on Saturday said it has completed the acquisition of Revolt Motors which is into manufacturing of electric vehicles. Now Revolt Motors has become a 100 per cent subsidiary of RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd, the company said in a statement. "RattanIndia Enterprises Limited has completed acquisition of 100 per cent shareholding in the electric motorcycles market leader Revolt Motors," the statement said. Revolt Motors is the highest selling electric bike in the country with its manufacturing facility in Manesar, Haryana. The EV maker has expanded its footprint pan-India with 30 dealerships spread across the country. Jio-BP to build EV charging infrastructure for India unit of Citroen

Jio-BP, a fuels and mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) and BP, will build EV charging infrastructure for India unit of French automobile manufacturer Citroen, the two firms said on Friday. "Jio-bp will install DC fast chargers across Citron's key dealership network and workshops across the country in phases. "These chargers will also be open to the entire universe of EV car customers to help boost EV adoption among consumers," the two firms said in a statement. With the New Citron -C3 All Electric scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2023, this partnership will ensure Jio-bp's charging infrastructure network is accessible via an app. Jio-bp currently operates a rapidly expanding network of EV charging and swapping stations under the Jio-bp pulse brand.
