HSBC Bank Mauritius sells 7% shares of V-Mart Retail for Rs 392 cr

HSBC Bank Mauritius on Monday offloaded 13.91 lakh shares of retail company V-Mart Retail for Rs 392 crore through an open market transaction. According to the bulk deal data available with the BSE, HSBC Bank Mauritius Limited AC Jwalamukhi Investment Holdings sold 13,91,826 shares, amounting to 7.04 per cent stake in the company. The shares were disposed off at an average price of Rs 2,816.29 apiece, taking the transaction value to Rs 391.97 crore. Meanwhile, Plutus Wealth Management LLP picked up 11,45,000 shares of the company. As of June quarter, HSBC Bank Mauritius Limited AC Jwalamukhi Investment Holdings owned 7.04 per cent stake in the company, shareholding pattern showed with the bourse. On Monday, shares of V-Mart Retail settled 3.49 per cent lower at Rs 2,892.75 apiece on the BSE.

BSE, NSE take measures to standardise disclosures by listed entities

Leading stock exchanges BSE and NSE on Monday announced that they have taken measures for standardising the disclosures made by listed companies pertaining to the critical information for investors. Listed firms are required to submit periodical compliance filings to stock exchanges within the prescribed timelines. Under the measures, stock exchanges have implemented new XBRL-based compliance filing mechanism featuring identical and homogenous compliance data structures. The move will not only ease the compliance burden on listed entities but would also enable analytics on the data submitted by them, BSE and NSE said in a joint statement. XBRL-based filings for equity, debt, Real Estate Infrastructure Trust (REIT), Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) have been released by both the exchanges to facilitate the input of the critical clauses of Sebi's LODR (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations. Three of top-10 firms lose Rs 1.22 trn in mcap; RIL biggest laggard

The combined market valuation of three of the 10 most valued domestic firms fell by Rs 1,22,852.25 crore last week, with Reliance Industries emerging as the biggest laggard. IT majors Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys were the other two bluechips which faced erosion from their valuation. In contrast, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, HDFC, Bajaj Finance and Adani Transmission were the gainers. Their combined gain was Rs 62,221.63 crore. During the holiday-shortened week, the BSE benchmark Sensex dipped 30.54 points or 0.05 per cent. The market valuation of Reliance Industries fell by Rs 60,176.75 crore to reach Rs 17,11,468.58 crore. The market capitalisation (mcap) of TCS declined by Rs 33,663.28 crore to Rs 11,45,155.01 crore and that of Infosys dipped by Rs 29,012.22 crore to Rs 6,11,339.35 crore. Mcap of seven of top-10 valued firms tumbles over Rs 1.54 trilion

Seven of the top-10 valued firms suffered a combined erosion of Rs 1,54,477.38 crore in market valuation last week, with IT majors Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys emerging as the biggest laggards. Last week, the BSE benchmark index tanked 812.28 points or 1.36 per cent. Reliance Industries Limited, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India were the only gainers in the top-10 pack. The market valuation of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) plunged Rs 59,862.08 crore to Rs 11,78,818.29 crore. The valuation of Infosys tanked Rs 31,789.31 crore to Rs 6,40,351.57 crore. HDFC Bank's valuation declined by Rs 16,090.67 crore to Rs 8,13,952.05 crore and that of Hindustan Unilever fell by Rs 14,814.18 crore to Rs 6,04,079.91 crore.
