'Pound is stronger than rand': Proteas skipper on missing out SA top players

Ranchi (Jharkhand), Oct 22 (ANI): The Indian Cricket Team completed 3-0 whitewash of South Africa with innings and 202-run win in Jharkhand's Ranchi on October 22. While addressing the post match press conference, the skipper of South African Cricket Team Faf Du Plessis said, "The opportunities are there for players in the domestic circle in England and lot of South African players are playing there at this moment. Obviously, from a financial point of view, the pound is stronger than rand so this is a concern for us." "But, the lesser of those things that there are for players to go overseas obviously that will be much beneficial for cricket in South Africa at this moment," he added. "We are losing our experience in international cricket but we are also losing our experience in domestic cricket as well. Your top players domestically are playing overseas so you are missing out your base players but it is very difficult to stop this," Proteas skipper further stated.
