Goa Polls: Talks with Congress failed, NCP-Shiv Sena will fight together, says Praful Patel

Bambolim (Goa), Jan 19 (ANI): The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Praful Patel on January 19 announced alliance with Shiv Sena for the upcoming Goa Assembly Elections. The announcement was made by Patel in a joint Press Conference with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Patel also mentioned that despite efforts to form alliance with the Congress, talks had failed and now they have decided to contest separately.“We made an offer to Congress to jointly contest Goa polls, but in vain. They neither said yes nor no. NCP and Shiv Sena will jointly fight Goa polls, not all 40 seats, but a substantial number,” said Patel.Patel also informed that the first final list of candidates will be released tomorrow, other lists will follow later.
