New Delhi, Nov 15 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 514.19 points down to stand at 26,304.63. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty is down with 187.85 points to stand at 8,108.45. Corporation Bank and Bank of Baroda were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 14.49 percent and 8.03 percent along with Suzlon Energy Ltd and Natco Pharma Ltd with an increase of 5.29 percent and 5.05 percent while the top losers of group A include Manappuram Finance Ltd and PC Jeweller Ltd with a decrease of 15.91 percent and 13.70 percent along with DCB Bank Limited and Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd with a decrease of 13.15 percent and 12.89 percent at the close of markets. The Auto sector is down at 1042.41 points at 19520.27 while the Banking sector is down at 550.98 points at 22053.32 and the Realty sector is down at 66.58 points at 1230.56. The Indian currency is 0.62 percent up with Rs 67.67 per dollar.

A federal judge has sided with Facebook parent Meta and cleared the way for the company to buy virtual reality startup Within Unlimited, the maker of the popular fitness app Supernatural.
Federal antitrust regulators had sought to block the acquisition on the grounds that it would hurt competition in the emerging virtual reality market.
But U.S. District Judge Edward Davila denied the Federal Trade Commission's request for a preliminary injunction against the deal. The judge's ruling said the agency did not provide sufficient evidence to prove its case.

There is a serious failure of Jharkhand in preventing the continued "environmental lawlessness", the National Green Tribunal observed while hearing petitions regarding alleged violations of environmental norms by quarrying and crushing units in the Rajmahal hills.
The green panel also directed the chief secretary to personally monitor compliance as there was "much to be desired in remedial action against gross continuing violations in spite of categorical orders".
The tribunal was hearing petitions that claimed that stone-crushing and mining companies in the Rajmahal hills of Sahebganj district were indulging in indiscriminate mining without regard for environmental norms.
The hills are blown up, huge dust is generated and air and water pollution is caused -- to the detriment of the environment and public health -- during the process, the petitions alleged.
A bench of Chairperson Justice AK Goel said despite several orders -- including prohibiting illegal mining and non-compliant .
